Just thought I'd let everyone know that I'm still alive and doing well... School takes most of my time lately. Anyway, email me if you want a detailed update on my life. Gabi, I haven't forgotten about you, so write me when you get a chance. I miss xanga but right now I really don't have time for it, but I still can find time for my friends so keep in touch.

So here's a quick update... I got a haircut last Monday (but if you haven't seen me in a while, you really wouldn't notice).

Today I went to a gun range with ma famille (Mom is a member of a Red Castle gun club so that came very handy). I think it could have been a little warmer today because after a couple hours of shooting I had trouble feeling my fingers. Other than that I had a wonderful time.

I did hit the targets if you were wondering...

So nevermind what I said about my family (see SATURDAY) in my last post. Mom read it today and phoned me at home to say that I will get some ass-kicking when she gets home from work because I was so careless Saturday and I could have been killed by that stranger. The funniest thing is that at that time I didn't even think of that person trying to murder me... the first thing that came to my mind was "A ZOMBIE!"... I mean, I was at the cemetery and isn't that where zombies come from?! Rise from the dead and stuff? And I'm not even kidding, the first thing I thought was in fact that the person might be one of those living dead creatures and I don't even believe in that stuff. And a thought of dying did cross my mind for a second but then I was like "whoa, a zombie!" and that took over my mind. Buddy was excited too but that didn't surprise me... he is always excited, zombie or not. So after all, I do think it was just a person who was walking at the cemetery very late at night just like I was. Maybe he even thought I was a zombie that would explain why he was walking so fast away from me. Anyway, mom got home but I was super sensitive all day about some zombie-unrelated family stuff so she didn't really attempt to kick my ass. However, she just mentioned that next time I decide to take a late night walk to make sure I wake her up so she can kick my ass then. I love my family! THE END.

Oh, and yesterday was my one-year xanga anniversary... Wow!

I'm back again... Norman was fun as always. I had the most wonderful time with Megan and Brad (when he came around that is). It sucks that school starts back again Monday. I could definitely use another 2 weeks of sleeping in.

What I did in Norman:

- EVERYDAY: Slept in

- EVERYDAY: Stayed up watching Gilmore Girls with Megan, drinking green tea, eating lots of chocolate, and talking about girly stuff

- MONDAY: Alexei came over for dinner. We had tilapia and it was very good. But again, I LOVE fish!

- TUESDAY: Went to Brad's... There we watched some movie where Harrison Ford was the President of the United States and Russians were the BAD guys (yeah, go figure). I missed the last 15 minutes of it because I fell asleep

- WEDNESDAY:  Meg and I watched the Rose Bowl and the Hornets game. Brett (Meg's downstairs neighbor) invited us over for a little bit after the game. I learned how to play beer pong.

- THURSDAY: Had lunch at the Mont with Alexei a.k.a. Meg's tennis player. It was his B-day. Took pictures. Brad came over later that night and we watched the "Wedding Crashers," which was a good movie (I laughed a time or two).

- FRIDAY: We had lunch with Brad at some mexican restaurant I don't remember the name of. It was in the Bricktown, that's as far as my memory goes. Said goodbye to Megan because she had to go to work (got all teary-eyed). Later that night Brad was very kind to take me the Hornets' game (they played Portland Trial Blazers). It was a good game! I think I'm starting to like basketball. Scary! After the game, we headed back to Tulsa. Arrived home a little after midnight.

- SATURDAY:  I went for a very late walk tonight because lately I have trouble sleeping at night. It was past midnight and I felt the sudden need for some air. So I took Buddy with me and walked to the elementry school near by. Then I sat on the swing for a good 30 minutes thinking about stuff. It started getting very windy so I headed back home around 12:45 a.m. On my way back, when I was passing the cemetery, I saw some other crazy person walking at night... Scared the shit out of me! Because it was MY idea to go walking and nobody else should be out that late. So I got home around 1 o'clokish and nobody even noticed that I've been gone for an hour... or that I've been gone at all! What if I was murdered?! Nobody would notice... Welcome to my family!

Anyway, I just had a very wonderful cup of green tea with some chocolate. And about to go read a book... but first I need to find a book I want to read because I've finished my most current one earlier today. I feel like I should read something classic. Russell gave me "The Oedipus Cycle" by Sophocles a while back and it's been sitting under my night table for quite some time, so maybe I should read it and get it over with. Another option is "Wuthering Heights" by Emily Bronte... I started reading it last summer, got to a page 72 and stopped. Perhaps I should work on finishing it. Either way, I'll be reading something tonight!
